Rojo,
Is the potential other shoe drop related to the change in OC?
Yes it could hurt the program but I'll confirm it anyway. Unbelievable.

So you know what it might be too?

It's Kyler transferring. There's been rumors for a while and those rumors didn't go away when Allen announced he was leaving.

So you know what it might be too?
Of course. Let me whip up a batch of BS biscuits and I'll be right back to post another riddle.

That's not happening but keep worrying.

The show to drop theory.
Spav leaves to go to WV. Christensen is promoted from within as the new OC. And that's it. The zoo will meltdown because of this. Amirite?
quote:Jr apparently is one heck of a wr coach and recruiter. Was he retained by Muschamp?
My guess: Jr. coming along too as a WR coach. I have no friends, high or low, to validate.

Guys relax. They're gonna announce it the day of the SEC championship game.

Another possibility: false information is being passed down to smoke out a leak. Perhaps they've found it.

I am by nature a skeptic of internet forums, especially Aggie ones when it comes to A&M football. I am not here to claim you are wrong or you are correct. You have firmly stated that it is what you believe, so I will take you at your word that you believe it to be so. That is not what I'm writing about. I have no questions about Spurrier or Spav or any new OC.
BUT - answer me this:
HOW does you coming on here to post about the old OC, the new OC, possible bad news coming, etc. help HC Kevin Sumlin in any way shape or form?
If Sumlin and the AD wanted Spurrier's name out there - they would have announced it already. For some reason, they do not, yet you feel compelled to release the info and "claim" it is to calm down the fan base on TexAgs? Really?
WHO BUYS THAT?
If you "TRULY" supported Texas A&M and our football program explain to me how posting what I can only describe as "confidential information", since the HC and AD have not released anything at all, is HELPING a school you claim to support?
1. Posting things about Spav being out while he is still recruiting - bad for Texas A&M.
2. Posting things about Spurrier being the new OC while nothing has been announced - bad for Texas A&M (see line item 1)
3. Posting things about "more bad news" coming on players transferring - bad for Texas A&M.
So, I am not seeing or understanding your perspective that your posts in anyway do anything to remotely HELP TEXAS A&M's football program. All of those things above do nothing but create uncertainty and discontent with HS coaches, HS recruits, HS families of recruits, current players on the team, and lastly the fan base.
I would suggest that all of you who "believe" Rojo to be telling the truth to ask yourselves some questions tonight about who really wants whats best for Texas A&M. I'm not saying you should or should not believe what he is saying. We are all free to believe what we want to believe. I have ZERO beef with that.
But there is this thing called "critical thinking" or do they not teach that anymore in college these days. I hope some of us can slow down and think more critically on what we are reading on these boards the last few weeks.
Thanks for reading and considering.
