Don't like black uni's. Looked like a LOL poors version of tceh. I wouldn't mind an alternate color every 3 or 4 years as a special motivation for the Team, like that first year it really psyched the Team up. But the effect is lost if you do it every year. On the otherhand, we could open up a complete official permanent color change initiative. Every TMF member would get one vote. I would personally vote for powder blue and bright yellow, similar to the San Diego Chargers, to be our official school colors. Then we could think about a name change to fit new army values........oops that was loudly boo'ed out of consideration a few years ago. NM.

I liked them okay but I got confused about three times thinking we were in white....

Maroon, white, black, silver/gray - I'm OK with any of these colors being part of our uni's. Liked what they did yesterday. Wasn't a big fan of the chrome, but none of this bothers me that much.

It was for Halloween, and the unis delivered.
I think of myself as a "progressive Ol' Ag", class of '93. That said, I didn't care for the unis yesterday. It had "promise", but IMO we should never mess with the aTm on the helmets (no state outline, no color other than maroon or white). That to me is the "focus of our brand". They should have had black helmets with white aTms. I thought the same when we came out with the silver on white for the MSU game last year. Cheapened our brand, IMO.
Aside from that, the maroon on black lettering wasn't good. You couldn't see the names and maroon lettering simply doesn't go well (color scheme-wise) on black. Maybe if you outlined it with a small strip of white.
If you imagine it with white aTms on the helmet, remove the grey stripes (or perhaps had a maroon stripe with white outline) on the shoulders, and either simply didn't have names on the back or used maybe a light grey, they would have awesome. Or, instead of the grey stripes, use maroon on the shoulders. Maroon on black only doesn't work if you're doing lettering. But two tone blocks would probably look sharp.
Personally, if they were ALL BLACK with only white for numbers and aTms on the helmet, that would look crazy cool, Darth Vader-esque. The lack of names and stripes would have made them look like a hive, non-human.

Uniforms looked great in person! Really a cool visual when the Ags came out of the tunnel.
Hope we see some portion of the uniforms, especially the helmets, @LSU in a few weeks.
I don't like that college football fans talk about pageantry and tradition then Love it when Nike, under armor, and Adidas dress the teams in uniforms that make the players look like extras in ****ing Tron. I also don't like switching a game on and having to double check because the colors on the field don't match the school's colors at all and it takes me a minute or so to adjust.
