With the building of new Kyle and the hiring of Chavis I beleive A&M has figured this out. Winning = $$$$ and you can't stand pat.

Whether his salary is under market is entirely dependent on whether or not another school would be willing to pay him more. Do we know that's the case? I'm sure no one is willing to pay several times his current salary.

While 17% is better than nothing, would like to see a NCAA mandate that 50% of all Athletic profits go back to the University to support academics. We're supposed to be running universities to educate people, not running a self sustaining multi-million dollar sports business.

I think there should be some investment back to the school. Doesn't make sense for school to make so much $ on football but not re- invested back to the students

Most athletic departments aren't making all that much. That would kill some when it came to needing capital for improvement projects.
