The more I think about it, the more I believe we're getting all of them (Boyd, Hill, Lodge, Mack, Murray, Soso, Justin Martin, Kirk Merritt, Kendall Bussey, Roquan Smith, and Chris Warren. First of all, I do not think you understand why got Chavis. It wasn't for his recruiting it was his coaching. His reputation recruits itself. The big issue right now is we are dealing with the Snyder era mistakes of not going in boyd and hill early and hard. malik was always going to tu no matter who we had or they had. mack is an emotional roller coaster and will probably follow whoever he likes best that day.

The Chavis hire helped us lock down Moore, who is a need and fits Chavis's scheme very well, and put us on guys like Justin Martin and Roquan Smith.

His real impact on recruiting will be measured next year on the field which will impact recruiting more than this 2015 class ever could.

We are a top 50 defense from being a ten win team every year, and even championship contenders when the offense is super good. Chavis' job is to get us there and even better than that, not to save the 2015 defensive class.

Chavis was hired to make the guys we have on the field perform better, not change the minds of recruits a few weeks after he arrived.

I don't know who told you anything about Chavis' recruiting. He's never been a recruiter. But he is a hell of a coach.

I'm not sure why you believe Strong will have a worse defense than us after the performance we had last season. True, we have a new, truly awesome DC, but it's not like our players are that much better- our best guy just had knee surgery and, while tu graduating some great players, their cupboard ins't exactly bare. Our offense, meanwhile, will be absolutely lightyears ahead of whatever tu throws out there- this is the number one reason I think we get KM.

Chavis has been here all of, what, a month? And that's supposed to suddenly open the flood gates with kids who have had their minds mostly made up for a year or so? I think it caused a serious stir with some of them, but we won't know how big until next week.

Chavis has been our Coach for exactly one month. NSD has not already happened, so there is ABSOLUTELY no basis for this statement. You need a little perspective.

IMHO, the Boyds were both tu leans for quite a while The little brother seemed to be the loudest supporter of them heading to Austin. Because of this, Sumlin wasn't quick to allocate him a future spot; instead concentrating on Kris

But...it became a "split" household when big brother chose the Ags. I have to think that Sumlin then made a very smooth offer to little brother - something like "OK, now that we know where Kris is going, I want to offer an opportunity for you guys to play together should you change your mind about Austin".
