I swear, some of you wouldn't be happy unless he rolled in maroon paint, streaked across campus, & threw pennies on Sully while yelling his undying devotion and love for all that is A&M.
Haven't we all done this at some point?

quote:He's already said he's still committed. Do you need him to reaffirm this daily? Nothing from the Murray camp indicates that he's not coming to A&M. Stop getting sucked into the tsip drama.
I can't rest easy on any good news anymore. The truth is, if Kyler was coming here, he would've made a statement by now fully reassuring that. His silence is not good for us and tells me that there absolutely is something to this story and that it is not twisted at all. The longer he stays silent, the worse it is for us in my opinion.
quote:I think he will sign with us but I am concerned that it might be hard to turn down the money he might get offered by baseball. I want him here to compete for the QB job but again given his size it's more likely that he will be successful in MLB than the NFL I believe.quote:He's already said he's still committed. quote:Get you some vagisil. That will get you fixed right up.quote:He stated the obvious. He made no reassurance as to falsify any of the rumors that he is considering tu.quote:Dude, he said he was still committed to A&M at the DFW sports banquet. I swear, some of you wouldn't be happy unless he rolled in maroon paint, streaked across campus, & threw pennies on Sully while yelling his undying devotion and love for all that is A&M. If you think these high school kids aren't enjoying, supposedly adult, fanboys hanging on their every whim, word, & tweet you should pull your head out of your arse.

We know he is still committed. No need for him to reassure that. We need him to reassure that he is fully committed to our school and plans on signing here next Wednesday. Until he says that, the worrying is, and should be, completely real.
quote:You've seen Kyler play ashley. He has that added dimension that Allen cannot match, and can throw as well if not even better. He has no reason to be concerned about beating out Allen, and I think he and Kevin must know that. Red shirt one year, and then take the job. Allen better enjoy this coming season, and he will have to really have an outstanding year to be given the starting job the next year.
There is only one factor at play here at this moment. I think he will go to us, but be assured he might not because of one reason. That is that we have a good starting QB back for a couple that has a chance to be very, very good and Kyler might ride the pine for two years. This comes to ut where he could easily start and could have this year.
Sure Kevin is an Aggie but he also wants his son to play quickly. It could come down to Kevin's ides of how lone will it take it to be good. One thing for sure they will not be good without a good QB and they well know this and they are desperate.
quote:I choose to believe this because it makes me feel better.
Calvin Murray:
Kevin Murray's brother, played baseball at tu. An Aggie colleague of mine keeps in touch with Calvin, and Calvin told him very recently "there's no way in hell he's going to Austin." Furthermore, Calvin apparently loathes Augie Garrido and also stated "there's no way i'd let him (Kyler) play (baseball) for Augie", assuming the two-sport incentive was part of the temptation for Kyler. So there's that.
FWIW
quote:He went during the week when zero tu recruits were there, that makes no sense.
I have no insight into Kyler Murray's head. However, I honestly feel like he went to Austin trying to pull guys to A&M, and not because he's interested in tu.....

quote:Hmmm have you watched him play?
I've been in the Stidham camp all along. I remember Matt Davis talking his way into a scholarship. How did that work out? If Murray had a different name, we'd still probably recruit him because he won 3 state championships, But Aggies wouldn't be so enamored with him.
