There is only one factor at play here at this moment. I think he will go to us, but be assured he might not because of one reason. That is that we have a good starting QB back for a couple that has a chance to be very, very good and Kyler might ride the pine for two years. This comes to ut where he could easily start and could have this year.
Sure Kevin is an Aggie but he also wants his son to play quickly. It could come down to Kevin's ides of how lone will it take it to be good. One thing for sure they will not be good without a good QB and they well know this and they are desperate.

I think he will sign with us but I am concerned that it might be hard to turn down the money he might get offered by baseball. I want him here to compete for the QB job but again given his size it's more likely that he will be successful in MLB than the NFL I believe.

You've seen Kyler play ashley. He has that added dimension that Allen cannot match, and can throw as well if not even better. He has no reason to be concerned about beating out Allen, and I think he and Kevin must know that. Red shirt one year, and then take the job. Allen better enjoy this coming season, and he will have to really have an outstanding year to be given the starting job the next year.

Either the kid is up to the competition here or he isn't. Personally, I choose to believe he is and has already proven so, and will decide to come here and make it a hard choice for KDS at the start of each season while Kyle is still around. If he isn't, then he belongs with the sips and best of luck to him when other QBs sign on there.

I've been in the Stidham camp all along. I remember Matt Davis talking his way into a scholarship. How did that work out? If Murray had a different name, we'd still probably recruit him because he won 3 state championships, But Aggies wouldn't be so enamored with him.

he is good, but allen is very very good as well and will maintain his starting job as long as he is not injured.
