There wasn't anything wrong with his presser today, but it sure doesn't feel like we're on an upward trajectory right now.

I agree the last couple of weeks have been bad, and the season was disappointing. But he sure has done more in terms of recruiting and wins on the field than any Aggie coach in a long time. I think his body of work deserves some respect.

Sumlin is a badarse, he'll have his troops fired up tomorrow.

Sumlin has lost his swag. He looks and sounds like a guy that's about to appoint Hagen as DC because no one wants the job

To be fair...every single interview of any coach is just as boring as any other. What are they going to say in a pre-game interview? Hell...what would they say in a post-game? They win..."Well our game plan worked." They Lose,"we just threw behind the line of scrimmage too many times." They are all the same. Just watch the damn game and don't worry about the interview. I don't think we pay Sumlin to have good interviews...just to win football games.

Rest assured, if Rome had really been built in a day, then everyone on the planet would have hired em for everything. But it wasn't.

The W/L record, the offensive line that I didn't see develop from year-to-year or during this season, the quarterbacks that I didn't see develop this year, the defense that I didn't see develop this year.

It doesn't give me the warm and fuzzies to be back at square one at so many positions and it doesn't give me the warm and fuzzies to be remodeling the coaching staff three years in.

I'm looking around, what am I missing?

The recruiting? Its still great, for sure. But even it has shown some small *****s in the armor. (Don't read hyperbole into that- recruiting is still great.)
