Serious question. I'm not picking a side on whether you should sell your tickets to opposing team fans or not, but just for my own understanding (I was an economics major) why should you give away a ticket you paid money for that has value when you're a poor college student?

Never understood why people worry about students selling tickets, esp this year when the student sections have been full most of the season.

Who would he sell them to except other A&M students with student ids - correct? I am not seeing the transgression.

People sell sports passes all the time. Not a big deal. When you have a game on Thanksgiving, you're going to have some students who elect to go home instead. That's just reality. Expecting them to simply give the tickets/sports passes away instead of making some of their money back is just idiotic.

Yeah I mean I see people all the time on the ticket exchange trying to sell their season tickets (typically for 1.5X what they paid) because they can't make it to the game.

Why should I expect them to give me their tickets?

get over the subsidized thing. Yes they are subsidized. Yes students pay for their sports passes (while at a significantly discounted price). Bottom line is every school does it but we ***** about it the most.

He was selling to strangers. I had to ask if they are student tickets. Plus it is against the rules to sell tickets for profit.

If he is selling them at or below what the student price was, no big deal, he's just breaking even. If he is trying to make a profit, then it's a big deal since the ticket is subsidized.

They are only subsidized if a student uses it. If they sell it, the buyer has to pay the difference to convert it. So A&M is getting their money either way.

Just because they suck doesn't mean they don't show up. According to Sumlin Ivan Robinson played through an injury during the Alabama game instead of telling the coaches to pull him. I find it funny that most of the people on this board, even when they were young enough to play, probably wouldn't be able to make it through one game as a player, yet criticize they players constantly for not putting forth more effort.

I agree that there are certain plays and games where we see a lack of effort, but to just give up and dismiss the entire team because you don't feel like going to the game, and trying to blame it on the team is just retarded. Man up and just admit you're a 2%er.
