I don't care what happened with us on Saturday. Sumlin would get the team fired up and I can pretty much guarantee our fans would be 100x louder than the sip fans were we to play them in Houston.

I think the general concern among the fans...is that this A&M team has holes...that cannot be fixed in 2014 especially with the injuries at LB and D-line. The horns have a good rushing attack and that could be a big problem. Would also like a more experienced QB at the helm

Because right now it's a toss up if we would win. We would have loved to play them with JFF the last two years or probably next year after KA has a year under his belt. People are afraid of uncertainty and damaging our recruiting advantage.

If I felt like we could blow them out and embarrass them, I say we play them. But the way we've been playing lately and with our injuries and overall lack of depth... would rather pass this year. Lets get all the pieces in place first.

Both team suck ass, I'd rather see this when both teams (esp us) are good.

Because the are improving, they are in most of their games win or lose, we are not. I don't think they've had a 59-0 loss. They don't seem to give up like we do, plus, t.u. would beat the absolute unmitigated hell out of A&M right now and would jump at the chance to do it.

You apparently haven't availed yourself to many a good discussion about this and started your own thread.

With regards to having to put up with **** from ut fans - I've not had to put up with any. They've come across as the obsessed ex-girlfriend as they realize the lack of appeal the conference they've created has. You shouldn't let them get in your head.

That said, it's a simple risk-reward judgment. Not. In. Our. Best. Interest. Who would be most excited about the game? Why?

With all that said - if we play in a bowl game then so be it.

Their defense eats spread teams and they have a power running game. Only 1 other team has kept Baylor under 45 and Bama is the only other team to keep WVA under 30.

We aren't as good and tu has way more to gain by beating us. We gain nothing by playing them right now.

Newsflash: Synder knows how to defend the power running game. It is the spread he has problems with.

And our O would have scored 34 points or more two weeks in a row were it not for piss poor play calling by Spav at the end of the game.

But I rather play the Cheeseheads in the Outback than have to deal with sip fans in Houston, so the whole tu thing is moot.

Would be pretty evenly matched although I could see them getting in our heads. They'd have less to lose I think. The bowl would not feel like a low tier bowl, that's for sure.

Because a highly publicized slap fight in a bottom tier bowl makes the program look small. There is nothing to win.

Because all the chicken littles are overly impressed with 4 of their last 5 games with wins against Iowa State, TTU, WVU, and OklaState.
