With us losing last night I expect us to be picked to play UT in the Texas Bowl unless we somehow beat LSU. I think if we play UT we have 60% chance of losing that game. This is the worst case scenario. If we lose to them everything we have accomplished since we left for the SEC was a waste. I am irrationally upset by this prospect, anyone think otherwise?

Beating texas in a bowl may be only thing that could make season not as terrible.

We have absolutely everything to lose. This game would prove nothing has changed. That #wrts, gadgets, swag, and helicopters was all smoke. This would solidify Strong as a head coach for the future. This would hurt recruiting. This would break my ducking heart!
Did anyone watch the OKie State and WVU games? They got better, and excusing the Auburn game we have been getting worse. They have our two biggest weaknesses: Defense and run game. I see us losing, but any of the previous years or any of the next few years I see us winning easily. This hurts the most.

NO, I don't want to play them, they will score a couple of touchdowns and our give up defense will lay down adn die and they will beat the hell out of us, then make life miserable for us, as usual, rubbing our noses in that damned cows crap!

For **** sake aeon ag it's UT. The t.u. thing might have cute the first 25-30 years, but they're UT and we look pathetic clinging to the t.u. thing still.
I've seen better Aggie teams than this one lose to worse Texas teams than that one.

Arkansas would like that matchup as well and it's also a geographic fit and a money maker The SEC office decides who goes where and I doubt they send A&M to the Texas Bowl if there's a chance we lose it. Too much money on the line with protecting the SEC brand in Texas right now. We are going to Shreveport.
