If we win its good obviously but if we lose then we can stop living the delusion that we are a powerhouse, swag, WRTS blah blah blah. And then maybe that would be enough to fire some people..

ALL of our memorable victories have come against teams that are good. You give this team a few weeks to heal and I'd love to play a top 5 team.

Their best wins are WVU, Tech, and OK St. Ours are Auburn, Scar, and Arky. Auburn would face **** WVU, Arky already dominated Tech, and Scar would easily handle OSU.

That's a special kind of stupid argument about only 3 OOC games precluding a series of games with us We held the T-Day spot open for you guys and Dodds told us to eff off. Dodds also told the Cotton Bowl to eff off after the 2012 season. He refused to play us.

Patterson is on record as not wanting to play us, as well. He didn't say, "except for a bowl game." With conferences having so much control over who goes where, it's not hard to lobby Bowlsby to get the desired match-up.

After losing the players he will after this year and what's happened recruiting-wise lately of course he would! No **** - that's the argument I've been trying to make. The upside relative to the downside for him is huge. If he can manage to keep it close he wins (regardless of the final outcome of the game).

Which is why I don't see the appeal of a 9-game round-robin schedule. I've always thought the B12 should go back to 12 teams, and add a couple of midwestern teams to ease the travel burden on WVU.

But whatever, my opinion doesn't matter. Would be tough for us as well now being that we play LSU on T-giving weekend every year now. Then again, I still think it's ridiculous that Texas and A&M don't play. I think there are ways we can make it work, we just have to want it. If Texas agreed to play A&M again (and KU for Mizzou), both series could take place on T-giving weekend again and LSU-Arky could go back to that weekend as well.

I don't get the appeal either. Also adds five automatic losses to the conference slate. Teams like KU and ISU could use the extra win.

The biggest problem for Texas though is it just gives us no flexibility. Some years we only have 4 conference home games, etc.

We need to play Texas. (The collective) We have been running our mouths for the past three years, and it's time to square up and back up all of this WRTS stuff.

I don't understand all the pansies saying tu would beat us. Why? We haven't played a team as bad as tu since before SEC play started. I realize we have a long way to go to get where we want to be but c'mon, tu would have exactly zero wins against the SEC teams we've played. Zero.
