lol they really changed the name of Logans to Logies? I haven't been to NG since the Vandy game last season so when I heard people say "Logies" I thought it was a new "so stupid it's cool" nickname. The name change be kinda gay. I like it.

No one's mentioned Cedar Lane. It's one of the better bar's in NG besides Logies or The Corner.

Weekend drinking should (imo) go as followed:
Start at Chimy's,
Wake me ups at Cedar.
Sake Bomb.
Shots at Dry Bean.
Logie's for an hour or so (it's not NEAR as fratty as Chimy's - just regular college kids and its one of the few 21 and up, which is nice)
Get weird at social or foundies.

Chicken is for day drinking or going with my father.
Obannon's is nice on a Tuesday or Wednesday just to grab a beer.
The Corner is solid day drinking when you want to watch a game or look over the beautiful skyline.

Loogies! JK.

Chicken is now that older "mature" bar where the older crowd goes, or people that aren't single or out with buddies to just drink and play bones or whatever. It's definitely not what it used to be, which was the place to get half drunk and launch your night chasing the opposite sex before you ended up somewhere else.

It's just reached "maturity" in the bar lifecycle.

is that library place next to the bookstore still there? Never could figure how it stayed open as there was never anyone in there.

Anyplace but The Chicken. Dump of a bar with urinals you can smell a mile away.
Love The Corner, Chimy's, Rebel after a game.

Some thoughts:

1) Chimeys is great but OP is a damn fool for talking down about the bird.

2) Logan's should have renamed itself Brogan's. Logie's sounds like a bodily fluid.

3) Its mutherfuggin game month.
