The Chicken is good for day drinking. That's about it. The best bars are Logie's (Logan's), Chimy's, The Corner and Basil Whippets. These are facts.

Upstairs in Basils is a hot box. Would certainly put Gatsbys and Foundation are better than Basils. Chimys and Backyard are bad ass hang out spots. And corner bar is a great place to watch a game.

The idea of backyard is good, but always seemed to reel in the dewsh population when I went. Chimys is good, but I'd prefer the corner or obannons

Logies is great at night

All the bars mentioned in this thread are bars that won't exist in 10 years (as most didn't exist 10 years ago).

That's why you tell visiting fans to go the Chicken. Because it's one of the few bars in CS that isn't "just another bar."

I'm not new army, class of 02 here. I was here when a super monster was around 10 bucks and we had the cow hop and the deluxe diner was still kickin'. With that said, I did go to Chimy's for the first time the weekend of the Texags kickoff event.

I had the burger, waffle fries are included...damn good.
My buddy had the pork nachos...more damn good than the burger.
The staff (waitresses and ladies taking food orders) were damn hot.
Lots of tv's and very SEC-centric.
Overall chuckwaggie grade of 9/10.

My wife always wants to hit up la bodega when we r in town; i'm planning on taking her to Chimy's next time.

Chimy's is definitely the place to go for the sorostitutes which I am a fan of. The Chicken is the perfect place to wake up and place some early morning billiards with some bros. Hookah is the best club because they somewhat filter what they let in and it's where all the athletes go. The Backyard is a perfect place to pull wanna be sorostitute Blinn girls. Logie's is full of frat guys.

Chimy's is a good place if you enjoy paying $8 for a $1 margarita... That being said, it does have a ton of hot chicks. But you can find girls just as hot at Logans. They are actually the same girls, it is just that Chimy's closes at 12 (1 on Saturdays) so everyone goes to Logan's after. And I will fight anyone who says that a bar has better music than Logan's. Plus during the year they have this bartender that looks like a fat Mike Evans so that is pretty cool too.

But really *****ing about which bar is best is kind of pointless, as long as the beer is cold, the women are hot (and slooty) and its a party inside (read every bar on NG)

Logan's does indeed blow a giant bag of dicks.

A wise old man showed me how to prepare for gamedays.

It goes:

1. - 7 a.m. - Wake n bake. 2 bottles of breakfast Boone's (assorted flavors)

2. - 8 a.m. - Load up and be @ N.G. by the time the bean opens.

3. - 9 a.m. - Copious amounts of duck farts, 84 miles to Houston, Pissed off japs, & Jager bombs. GTFO there before the crowd rolls in.

4. - 10:15 a.m. - Depending on time of game, either walk to stadium after acquiring flask bottle of cheap whiskey or move to tailgate and kill a few dog beers before later game.

5. - 11 a.m. - Either be yelling your head off or cooking something for lunch.

6. Win game and chase tail all over NG after said win.

I followed these steps on gamedays, & I never lost. Even when the ags did.
