Anyone have photos of old, Kyle Field scoreboards? I am old enough to remember when the clock was analogue. There has been quite a progression of score boards over the years. If you have old photos, please post them here.

Glad we're finally getting one big enough for dead dogs to see.

The scoreboard was analogue until about 1960 or 1961.

Early 90s, pre Zone days

Anyone remember the early 90's board that had a first down graphic that showed a running back leaping over a pile and once down extending the ball, then a benevolent ref went ahead and gave the Ags the first down signal?

I remember that one Scotch. I hope someone has a photo of it

During the Fran era, I recall" It's another Fightin Texas Aggie ...punt"

I would make fun of my GF (now wife) big time when she would yell this. To this day, when watching a game, she'll chant it. Makes me laugh.

remember that quite well.

ball carrier leaped over a pile and rolled what I would say was at least 10 yards then extended the ball forward.
there as the first down one
sacked - in which the QB was simultaneously hit by several defenders and disappeared into a cloud of dust then reappeared in a bag that was tied up as "SACKED" flashed in the background.
of course the "MAKE SOME NOISE"
obviously a TD , If I remember it was similar to the first down one.

at the time that was the cutting edge of technology. Honestly not really that long ago but from a technological standpoint..it was the stone age.

wisdom, I remember that day very well!

Now the scoreboard is four times the size and a hell of a lot harder to see.

Did the graphics scoreboard also have one with a bull snorting just for Robert Wilson or did I mis-remember that?
