"Aaron Rodgers went to Cal, but he'd rather talk about the other school he went to.

We don't remember it now that Aaron Rodgers is a three-time Pro Bowler, former NFL MVP, and superstar with State Farm ads, but he didn't pick up any scholarship offers out of college. His Division I options were walking on at Illinois or... well... nothing. And so he went to Butte Community College, where his team went 10-1 and earned him a look from Cal coach Jeff Tedford.

He reminded us of that Thursday night in the NFL season opener.

I'd bet he really believes he is talented enough for a good division one scholarship and so he plans to transfer after a year of football at a community college. I hope he gets an offer to play for us.

Its extremely common for players to pass up mediocre offers if they aren't offered at a school they like. DeUnte will be putting in one hell of an offseason, and if he has a successful season or two in juco, he'll receive much better offers
