Thanks for the pics.

And liberal tears are delicious.

Exactly who are the liberals in this? Those of us calling out others for a lack of courtesy and appreciation? Conservatives eschew these things?

I took it as he was responding to 8T2's post:

Looks like all of the east canopy scaffolding is gone. Really looks nice.

We should specifically choose to NOT have wifi at Kyle Field.

Thank you for posting this. I was worried where Gill would be, they chose a great place for him.

Uh, no
Yeah, I still would have loved to see him inside Kyle Field. Oh well, a war that will be fought on another day...

To whoever pulled 2nd deck, front row on the 50:

It's now your duty to steal the statue and get it into the stadium on gameday. Good luck and Godspeed!

In an effort to de-statufy campus, I propose that the single biggest donor to the Kyle Field Redevelopment project get to keep the older E. King Gill statue...

And put it in his front yard.

Be all..

24/7 work schedules, for two straight years by the time it is complete.

They have shifts. Let's not act like these guys didn't get any sleep or breaks. It's a job.

Yeah I'm fully aware of what's going on my Brother in law is a senior project manager on the job. Commutes everyday from Houston to CS and has been on 7 days a week for quite sometime. And of course others around the world have tougher jobs, I'm a service vet and understand deployments.

But why would you honestly not want a brief moment of recognition for Aggies that built the stadium? This is about as lame as crying about a bevel.

Wonder if A&M gave a certain amount of tickets to the workers for their appreciation.

Nothing good.

Shaping up to be located on the practice fields. Plans are in flux though.

And yes people should be angry.

Developing situation apparently, so forgive me if things change.

The plan all along was to fire from the SE tower steps, in a designed area. The plan was tested a couple of weeks ago and was basically put to bed.

Fast forward to a few days ago and the health & safety folks, plus a party in the President's office, pulled the rug out and said that was no longer an acceptable plan because of proximity to Spence Park fans entering/exiting the SE tower.

The plan was quickly revamped to possibly be on top of the SW tower. This idea was also quickly scraped.

A few hours ago a poster chimed in that the current working plan is to fire from the practice fields and pump in sound into the stadium. At which point pretty much everyone agrees, do it right or don't do it at all, pumping in sound is chicken sh**.

The current situation is in flux because there's about to be a sh**ton of pissed off Aggies angrily demanding what they were promised - a cannon near the stadium. There's not an answer yet, and it's not the fault of anyone who could control the cannon, they've lobbied hard and long to get this integrated into game day.

This makes sense, but how is it that much different than the proximity to it's previous spot and those sitting in the bleachers and lower southern seats in the east side? That was pretty close, so couldn't they just rope off the same distance as before?

Total BS. We are going to end up with a tiny cannon that doesn't do crap.

That was a smaller gun and they were firing at the Bright.

When they tested the 105, they were firing it at Spence park.
