Jay you are right, we do create our own Aggie jokes, like when you answer your own complaint with why we cannot put OUR cannon inside Kyle. Unless you wish to go smaller you certainly do not understand the subject matter at all. As for the graves, they have never been in Kyle so only you and a small percentage feel the need to place them inside. However, them not getting the graves in the location you wish is not a failure of the $475M budget or any joke no matter what your personal agenda may prefer.

FWIW Keep in mind the big gun didn't appear at gameday until the mid-80s. That's over 90 years of "old army" football with no kaboom.

I love having it in Kyle, but I like intimidation factor of the stands bumping right up against the field with little room to spare even better.

I think it's a little silly having a cannon outside the stadium however I really don't care.

That E. King Gill statue isn't near as big as some of the renderings made it look. I know some people were worried that it would be some monstrosity that stuck out, but this seems to be right-sized.

Maybe that's a lesson to people to not complain about the way something looks in a rendering? Nah, they'll never learn.

I believe they will continue firing the cannon (possibly all day). I was told they bought 18 rounds and there's tons of corps, along with others hanging around the area

As of 11:15 the 105 had not been fired. They fired two rounds out of old one. Piddled for 30 minutes with loading the 105, angled muzzle up, and have been sitting on standby since then.
