Are they seriously not going to save those beautiful marble pillars? A lot of people would pay a fortune for those, or we could use them in our new structure somewhere.

If you're referring to the ones by the ticket windows? Because if you are, I assume that by "marble" you meant "granite."

The only marble in the building were the terrazzo floors.

Great memories from G Rollie. Arkansas cheerleaders came to watch corps march to chow. I was fish sent to bring one back to eat with chow with us (or else!). Persistence paid off despite head yell leaders efforts. Brought "date" back, got to eat like a human for once, escorted her around campus and to game. Gave me a great "good luck" kiss.
Can't remember if we won, place was extremely loud, had a Fr. named Reggie Roberts that could really throw it down. Great memories.

I think they're moving a lot of it to the new PEAP building behind Read Arena.
