At the press conference a few days back they said they are on time and the stadium will absolutely be open on the day it is supposed to.

From the outside, Kyle Field will be symmetrical from three sides. From the south, the Bright building will block the view of the asymmetry anyway.

Hmmmm...why the asymmetry though? Is it a function of the staggered construction schedule!?
Function of the fact that the east side wasn't extended as the field moved south (to improve site lines) and the west side will be rebuilt centered on the relocated field. The towers are symmetrical about the center of each side.

Thanks...I guess Kyle was odd and quirky before the renovation...it will be odd and differently quirky after...seems fitting..

Interesting how they had to "shave down" the southern end of the east side's second deck where it meets the second deck of the SEZ...surely not the finished product, still interesting...

That maroon decking on the front edge of the third deck looks bad.
it always gets worn down, they just replaced that a few years ago I believe.

Sorry but that didn't wear out...it was cut...natural weathering doesn't work that way...
South corner of the top row of section 239 is gonna have a tough time seeing the scoreboard.

But just for one season.
And they will still have a clear view of a board with the score on it.
I really didn't notice that they cut the bottom of it, I was talking about the maroon board's color wearing down.

I imagine something along those lines or some other form of expansion that doesn't stretch all the way to the next set of steel risers

Look at the frame that's up, look at the rendering, then look at the frame being put together on the field. They're going to hoist the frame on the field up and expand the frame that's up already. Then they'll do the same to the other side.
