Why dont you find your kids baseball and softball leagues that play in the Spring like normal people?!?

perhaps they prefer to support the ags from their homes ?

I did this a few years ago with TT. Went to the TAMU game and one other (I used to travel to Lubbock frequently) and sold the rest. Made a nice profit.

Bought tickets for the Family able to use AMEX points for purchase via ticketmaster.

My wife and I will be there.

I think for most people in DFW, $100 each at SMU is a cheaper way to see the Aggies than 2 night minimums in BCS, gas and tickets at Kyle. I know the experience is not even remotely similar but it might be a way for many DFW residents to see a live game this year.

Of course on the drive from Dallas to Oklahoma you can roll down the window and smell the fresh air. And when you are leaving Oklahoma you don't ordinarily have to clean your feet with gasoline or turpintine.

I spend more than a $100 on decent beer, none of that mass produced lagar crap. Its chump change really. Its not that much, just buy the dang tickets and quit whining about the price.

Not going to spend $95 to travel to SMU stadium to watch a game, even though it is 30 minutes from where I live. I'll spend 95 dollars getting hammered and cooking.

Just Wait. People will be trying to dump these things last minute for $25 a pop.

A group of us TexAgs folks will be meeting at Trinity Hall around noon. It's located at the DART Mockingbird station.

Overpriced. No way that A&M/SMU ($95) should be in the same range as the SEC opener against Florida ($100).

Not sure where you all are getting pricing from. I called the ticket office at SMU this morning and bought 2 tickets on the 20 yard line for $85 each. Aisle seats too. I'd do that 100 times before spending $130 plus to go to Jerryworld.

GRRR I am at every home game, in fact I have not missed more than a couple in the last 15 years since i graduated. Hell I am a frequent guest at Zone 416's tailgate. I have sat next to Tabasco and his family for over a decade now so he can vouch for me.

I guarantee you that if you show up and hang around the stadium you will have plenty of Ags with extra tickets or SMU grads trying to get rid of theirs.

Skipping out on the $100 SMU tickets so I can afford Aggie Football season tickets someday!

it goes up to about $95 once you add in all the fees from buying the tix online.

Did anyone look at the ticket prices for the TCU game there @ SMU? $35 end-zone, $50 good seats.

They are really trying to see how dumb Aggies can be about their football!

SMU is an overpriced school for an overrated city. Cant believe tickets would be $100. Houston almost sold out Reliant for the game. Houston > > > > > Dallas.

I also was denied by 12th Man Foundation when I requested tickets earlier. So I planned a fishing trip. Grrr.

But they didn't... with H Town being so superior (like is claimed here), you would think people would have bought all tickets to the bowl game and still had people standing outside the stadium just to hear the crowd noise!

Put a sock in the Houston v. DFW crap. The facts are that in the largest Metro area in the State of Texas A&M cannot dominate and sell out a 30k stadium when A&M's exposure and excitement levels should be sky high. What's wrong with that picture? If that's the way it plays out our fan base sucks and we don't even belong in the SEC. That's a Big 12/COnference USA type showing if I ever saw one.

A&M should never schedule another game in DFW if that's the way it goes down. I know we can't get out of playing Arky in JerryWorld but no more beyond that.

Pitiful.

If it was LSU they would have bought those tix up months ago.
