The Corps motto is Per Unitatem Vis, and is engraved on our corps brass. Corps block success is just the motto in action.

Q10fanatic, that's a pretty lame attitude. As a BQ I'm embarrassed to hear you say that. Definitely not representative of BQ's I know.

Q10- Of course u did because u were in the band. Do u remember the back-in- forth war the band had with C2 co*ck company. lol it doesn't surprise me a BQ wouldn't vote for a CT. One band, one sound, and everything else is plain old noise.

BQs got mad when their wag buddies weren't allowed to go to the corps block gatherings because of PMC guys.

Looking at the ballot I would always choose one nonreg to vote for ( usually senior) and then it was corp block for the rest.

That is until I would remember that i wasn't a nerd and I wasn't going to waste my time voting in a stupid student election when I could be drinking.

I'm sorry you feel embarrased but I stand by my decisions. I was definitely in the minority but I was far from the only Cadet that chose to not vote in lockstep with 5 for Yell.

I don't really understand why a BQ would get that worked up about the Yell Boys anyways. The FTAB will always, imo, be a better representative of A&M to the public. Less chance for embarrassment and more impressive show than the eye-candy 5 for Yell typically chose while I was there.

dan, you misunderstand me. It wasn't part of some rivalry between the BQs and CTs; some of my best friends were Sq 16 and S-1 buddies that I met. I just believe(d) that multiple perspectives make a group better.
