Yes to black jerseys! There used to be a pic of Von Miller running and someone photoshopped it and made his jersey black... Anyone have access to this? I think black uniforms with maroon and white accents with our current helmet (maybe black) would be sick!

No to black uniforms. Although it may look cool, but black uniforms on a hot afternoon would dumb.

I like it. Besides, it's not like any uniform change is going to be permanent. If it makes the players feel like bad-a$$es, and HS players did it and get excited, freakin' do it, dude.

Black jerseys look terrible. Please keep our uniform design, go to NIKE, maybe add a small change if your attention spans demand it. Or use our whites. We had that NIKE collar for a few years in the late 90's. That's fine, whatever, no black please
You may not like them, but I don't think they're a played out trend. Duke bball still wears them and they look good.

That pewter color (also called gunmetal gray) such as the T.B. Bucs use would be so unique to the college game. Plus maroon and white would mix in really well with that color (much better than black IMO). As a bonus its really bad as$!
I think it would be neat if we had a really classic-looking uniform in our school colors: MAROON & WHITE.
I like maroon and white ... but nothing says that those have to be the only colors used. As long as those colors have high visibility on our uniforms, that is what matters. In fact, mixing those colors up with other colors (e.g., pewter on the helmet) might even make the maroon stand out more. Same with white.

... the uniform really isn't pewter except for the shell of the helmet. By just isolating the pewter there, it looks great and makes the aTm stand out. On the helmet, its basically a very similar color combo you see on thousands of aTm sweatshirts around campus.
Black uniforms are not even worth wearing for one game.

No wait, I agree with the thread. Not sure if the thumbs down disagrees with the thread or the stupidity of wearing black.
Black uniforms are terrible! We have no black as part of our colors. It makes no sense. And if we go black unis, then we'd have to do the super-dumb/never-amounts-to-wins student black out.
If you want darker, just have a very dark Maroon. That would look sweet, like the shade of blood.

Irrelevant discussion regardless. We will never have black unis, unless they are a third, alternate look that we use once a year, but ever still, I'd say that only has a snowman's chance in hell.
How does camo=hick? It's not an orange hunting vest. Plenty of other schools/teams have done camo themed uniforms for military appreciation day.

Come on folks. Just look at that photo above of the Bucs. Our maroon aTm outlined in white on that helmet, with aggie maroon jersey outlined in white with just a hint of pewter thrown in there and gray pants and a maroon and white stripe down the side...they would look even better and more bad as* than the Bucs uniforms that were selected as the best looking uniform in the NFL! Plus no one else in college has that look!
