Hopefully with this talent Sumlin can put A&M on the National map. We've got to give him a chance. Maybe he's the next Les Miles, Nick Saban or Urban Meyer., who knows. They weren't always big name head coaches. We need to get behind who ever is named the new HC.

Well, heres to hoping that he is the right guy for the job. I think Arkansas has made it clear that you can be an offensive team and compete in the SEC west... And at the very least we know that he wont be someone that's afraid to run up the score on an opponent.

Is it sad that no matter who we hire my response will be, "eh at least it will not be worse than the previous decade?"

Still haven't seen a link or seen real confirmation of this. I don't believe it. Don't hire Sumlin!

I already posted earlier about how I thought that Sumlin should be our only choice. I just want to say that we shouldn't be so quick to write him off - say after 3 or 4 years - we need to give the man time to prove his mettle. I'm thinking we lock him down for 8 years, let him prove himself. Some might think that this would be risky but I think it would be an overwhelming vote of confidence in our new hire, a way to instill some sense of loyalty in our coach.
