Out here at ticket pull and trying to get an explanation for what just happened. The BEST AVAILABLE SEATS were all double digit rows. I was first in line and all of the line leaders received rows ranging from 11-16.

The ticket office usually comes in around 6:45 AM to get ready for 7:00 AM pull. Today they came in around 6:20 AM.

The two 50 yard sections contain 18 seats each. If you do the math of 36 x 12 it equals to 432 tickets.

It would appear that they just allowed each of the 14 windows to pull around 30 tickets. Do they have that many friends or did they all just steal tickets that were about to see listed on stub hub?

I would like an explanation.

PS: Just heard a guy yell this is bull**** 2nd in line, 26th row. Kinda the norm at the moment.

Most likely some shitty old ags got some big money flowing over to the AD. They had their time, and now they are stealing it from students.

I was 4th in line and got row 26.

Talked to the lady that runs the office and spouted bull*****about how the first 12 rows can't handle groups of 10. So much bull*****all around.

I was 2nd in line, guy in front of me pulled row 14. This is complete bull. What is the point of camping out if the ticket workers get to pull as many tickets as they want. Where is the Aggie honor in that? Are they even seniors? This is ridiculous and Aggie tickets need to get their sh*t together. A lot of really pissed off students out there this morning.

So when did they change the pull system to a real first come first serve system in the past 10 years?

Didn't work like that when I was in school, you would be somewhere in the best available section that they were selling, but your row could be anything.

Y'all probably won't get a real answer. Where you end up with tickets doesn't make any sense though. We were much farther back this week (14th in line) than for Mizzou (4th in line) and we're gonna be on the 50 for t.u. yet for Mizzou we were on the 15. As long as the process stays secretive it'll continue to cause problems.

All you do now JJ is tell them what deck you want and they go from "the best available."

That ostensibly what they used to do also, but "best available" didn't mean that. There was randomization. Your friend 10 minutes later could end up with better seats.

So basically, what I gather is that there is nothing to see here, just the same whining that goes on every time people camp out and realize that being first in line doesn't mean you definitely get the best seats from ticket pull. Then they go asking "what everybody else got" (they happy people obviously leave without complaining) and a bunch of people end up whining about how they were cheated out of good seats.

I'm a little confused about this one. It's been a while since I bought student tickets, but I don't remember them saying the first in line would get the best seats. I probably just have a bad memory.

First World Problems

Every time I was first in line last season we got row 1. EXCEPT Cotton Bowl when we were 1st in line & got the last row of the highest section.

This year our spot in line has been about the row we got. 2nd in line we got 2nd row, 4th in line- 3rd row, ect. Today we were 20 in line and got row 24 so that's about what we expected

It sounds like the computer is set up to pick the "best" section available and then randomly select the requested set of adjacent seats in that section.

What section are the people in that got 1st row? They do the pull like a pyramid. So its possible for someone to get 20th row. Secion 232. and somebody 15 people back to get 1st row on the 10 yard line. Just depends.

It went in order.
1st - row 16
2nd - row 21
3rd - row 26
4th - row 30
5th - row 35
6th - row 1

How the hell is this possible? And don't give me *****about the number of tickets pulled at a time because the people to get 1st row pulled 8

We were 14 in line 10 and got row 36. I was shocked.
