I don't know who's side to take on this one. I'd say I was still on the fence...but given the status of said fence...

Akita is legit. Pulled up just after Sex Panther arrived. We spent about 20 minutes with Akita.

Y'all cut him some slack...he's a vet that's been in some serious combat. Just like he noted, he's from Nebraska, enlisted and served a sizable number of years in the Army. Lives in Austin and loves the Ags.

I had an idea how tight the yards are when he said where he lived, but you have to see it to appreciate the situation. His fence is like those in our subdivision just down the road...we all share fences with neighbors. Some are in pretty tight quarters. It's a function of who moved in first and put up the fence.

There's not much distance between Akita's home and the fence line. The house behind him sits up on a rise. The lights shoot straight into the yard. I got to believe it is very bright at night out there. There were some secondary lights on the porch which the guy left on by mistake. They shined directly into the master bedroom. It's one of those things that escalated late at night and ran a little too far. Akita noted that in his later posts.

Akita is definitely doing the right things now. He should get props from us.

And for those of you who wondered about getting in the truck and driving around to the guys front door...yep, he had to do this. The way the streets are laid out in this area, the only way to have reached the front door was driving around the house over several streets...or going over the fence and knocking on the guy's back door....probably wouldn't have been the right thing to do.

It's always good to have Ag fans in Austin...it makes life a lot more bearable to see the maroon shirts in our neck of Texas. Akita's a fan and it's great to have him supporting us. Gig'Em.

Youbetcha...Ags in Austin are like fish, they travel in groups to intimidate those borange thingies.
