Slocum ruined Stewart's chance. Line him up in the shotgun and he is the best QB in our history. Power running game with no passing imagination and he is a flop. Up the middle, toss sweep, and lateral pass will ruin anyone.
I wouldn't say Stephen McGee was a bust. They hype for him was big, so was the hype for Reggie McNeal. The one common factor with both of those guys was Fran. The Dallas Cowboys knew that. I'm not saying he's the Cowboys qb of the future, but they saw potential there. Scrubs don't play in the NFL.
Adam Black - DB Szymanski(?) - kicker Driver (already mentioned) early/mid 2000's - what was the white kid's name, DB, 2-sport star (with baseball), couldn't ever get off of the training table?
Randy Simmons... The kid was a beast with world class speed ... Blew a knee in one of those STUPID HS all- star games just before two a days & was never the same.
