I finished second in the one arm swim over 100 yards- you had to swim 100 yards with one arm

holding a towel above water! Who finished first? The only guy in school who had one arm!

In '69 the sips came to Kyle, I think ranked number 1. We were sitting in Knot holes in south endzone and it began to rain, rained like hell, and crowd sort of disappeared. We just wandered down the track to behind the tu bench and hung out until they came back out at half. We thought surely someone would tell us to leave, but they didnt. Sips were beating the Ags pretty bad, so guess no one cared. We made our way to their bench and stood on their bench to watch the game. I think the Ags scored or were making a game of it , and suddenly Steve Worster grabbed me and used me to stand up on bench and he started cussing DeNiro and telling his teammates not to let the Ags win the second half. DeNiro was having good game despite the score.
As years go by and the sips say that A&M is not their rival, I can think back to that game and say BS.
