Since joining the SEC, in football, Arkansas has:

Made 14 Bowls in 18 years

Placed 1st in the West 4 times (once every 4 1/2 years)

That's far from 'elite', but if A&M could do just as well I'm pretty sure there won't be any complaints.

So, to the original poster, slow your roll on "end up like Arkansas". I'm pretty sure A&M would be quite pleased to "end up like Arkansas".

1) Aggies should not be attacking other Aggies at this exciting time (or anytime)

2) Billy's business depends on him doing what he needs to do, in order to have access to the program. If he didn't do what he has to do to protect this, he would be an idiot.

3) None of our opinions matter, they are just opinions (Billy's included). Either move is going to be an improvement on where we were in this one simple way. MORE TV. In all sports. While I am on the SEC side of the fence right now, ESPN or PAC 16-TV is going to be a huge step up from Fox, VS., TBS, etc.

Regardless of conference, just being on TV on a regular basis and having a chance for more recruits to see the great traditions, atmosphere, etc. of Aggieland before we bring them to Kyle for visits, is going to be HUGE for recruiting.

It's an exciting time to be a Texas Aggie, let's use this time to show everyone how Aggies treat each other, and not stoop to every other fanbases level.
