This was the Tech game in '09 in Lubbock that we surprisingly won rather handily. We were fresh off of a 62-14 bloodbath given to us @ Kansas State. Tech had beaten Kansas State at home two weeks earlier 66-14. So if you were to use the transitive property (never use the transitive property) Tech beat Kansas State by 52, Kansas State beat us by 48, therefore Tech should probably beat us by 100. Ok, that's obviously ridiculous but I was fully expecting another beat down in Lubbock but instead I got to listen to Dave South in all his glory he is touchdown us to a 22 point win there. The game wasn't televised if I remember correctly.

I don't remember the exact score when the legendary OP started to hold his position on the crapper to help secure the win, but I think it was probably around the 28-14 halftime lead. We were actually down 14-7 after 1 in this game so I think he assumed his defensive position after we gained a decent lead. I'm sure atmhocky remembers all to well so he can comment on the exact details.

I was negotiating a deal for a new car when all this was going down. Figured we'd be getting our asses kicked pretty bad. Couldn't believe what i was hearing on the radio going home.

Just seems like a silly memory that we could only listen to the game.
