Forgotten about over time...I suppose people like Curtis Dickey and Darren lewis would not qualify because people still talk about them.

I'll go with our starting quarterback for at least 2 seasons in the mid to late 70s - David Walker. I believe he started in '76 and '77 if my memory holds true. Both were good seasons too (top 10 finish in '76).

I actually met Adam Bob one night at, of all places, my apartment complex. He was there apparently hanging out with his GF, my roommate and I were tossing a pigskin, he came over and introduced himself and shook my hand ... actually I should say that his hand totally engulfed mine ... wow, that dude was big, and to think he wasn't even considered the best among his LB brethren.

During one of the games last year they did a video clip montage (sp) of Fred Caldwell then they had a camera on him in the stands as he stood up and waved at the crowd. Seems like they do this once a game.

Oh and if you live in the NW side of Houston it is hard to forget Fred. He has a number of real estate developments...one of which I'd like to live in...Rock Creek is the stuff. It is/was quite thoed as well since Slim Thug used to be a resident

Long live Fred...BTW, Fred if you are reading this I'd like to earn a job in your operation. Met you before the A&M v. Memphis game in San Antonio last year. I guess I'll try to find you via other means and earn an interview.
