Tech has my favorite campus in the big 12. A&M has my least favorite, In terms of beauty. Though I love it the most.

I didn't think A&M was deserving of that distinction (#18) on the list; while it may not be one of the most beautiful campuses, there are aspects of it that are pretty and most of it is adequate.

I am not sure about some one else’s idea of aesthetic campus but I am sure most are surprised and awed by the sheer just size of the campus…at least me anyway.

My son went to TAMG and is making about 85G/year + stock + insurance + 101K + +!

At Galveston, they had their own Bonfire, still said Howdy to everyone, were told of AG traditions and were as much of an AG as you now see in CS.

BTHO psu!

If you refer to the forty acres as anything other than tu or 'sips, you are not an AGGIE!

Whoa whoa whoa...Tech...beautiful campus? Maybe I haven't seen ALL of it, but I saw quite a bit, and it pretty much left me unimpressed (trying to be nice with that one). Also, though there is a lot of beige, I have always been awed by our fine campus. I think the buildings fit very nicely together, though only a few of them are truly impressive structures. It certainly has always made me proud.

Finally, I remember last year I think, when I read an article about the ugliest basketball courts. My first and last thought was, the story this guy was given to write about is to rank the ugliness of basketball courts?! He is obviously not at the top of the list of that establishments great writers! He was not even given the dignity of actually writing about basketball itself, just the courts...this is the same thing. Why would I even think about listening to someone who spends their time ranking how ugly college campuses are? I'll venture a guess that someone is just jealous...and then I'll never think about this again. Haha, seriously, what a loser.

Oh, and I got the pleasure to visit and just walk around Princeton's campus while working in Jersey earlier this year. What an amazing campus that is. WOW!

A&M's isn't the prettiest, but, it's got some very nice areas, and certainly isn't one of the ugliest in the nation.

The new buildings, I believe, are implementing the same color brick (such as the chemical engineering building), and oughta fit in quite nicely. The Evans complex isn't the same design as the other buildings, but, still seems to fit in allright.

As for the brick buildings most typical on campus, in my opinion, they aren't terrible looking, as long as they take care of them. If cleverly designed, which a few here and there are, they can look quite nice.

As an aggie stranded in lubbock, tech does have a nice campus. Unless the wind blows from the south. Scratch that, unless the wind blows at all. The only real complaint I have about tech's campus is that it is sooo spread out and flat, depressingly flat.

Plus the women have get their blood checked for std's.

This guy is retarded. The campus and "college feel" is one of the many reasons why I came here.

And also, how the hell is tech not on this list? Does he like flat and dusty?

If we're going to say we have a world class university and are producing graduates for the real world, why don't we let them prove it. Let the senior architects, engineers, and construction science majors design and work on the future buildings. Obviously, everything would have to be submitted to real professionals to ensure its done right, but it would be cheaper, improve the morale - students literally shaping the campus, show the world we trust that we're really training the students, give the students great resume building experiences, etc.

The groundskeeping and upkeep are impeccable

Have you been up Ross St. from the CE bldg past Reed-McDonald and the Chemistry blg? It looks like hell. The road is collapsed everywhere and the trees are so overgrown that nothing can grow there but mold. This part of campus is in disrepair and has been like that for years.

just wait till the new buildings are up and running, they will update the scenery around campus. some of the buildings are plain and boring, but i think the landscaping makes up for that
