I have enjoyed "-a new history of old texas". It was suggested on texags last year.

He just started a new season.

I also like wise about Texas. Most episodes stand on their own and are interesting stories instead of trying to do some major story arch.

I've really liked legends of the old west lately, but not just Texas based.

the Cabeza De Vaca series was excellent
the Battle of Medina was pretty cool
havent listened to the most recent chapters
but I'm guessing it will be pretty good as well

a couple of episodes into new new chapters on New History of Old Texas - its about the area of the Rio Grande Valley below Laredo and Jos Antonio de Zapata and the early post Alamo Republic of the Rio Grande

like his other stuff, a much deeper dive into the Texas History that I thought I know a little bit about, but always surprised there is so much more that I don't know

I've visited with Branndon several times. He's very into the Battle of Medina so we've traded notes. He's focused mostly on finding the location of the site. I don't really get into that in my book. You could write a whole book just on that topic.
