My 10 year old son loves to ride and just got to pick out his first (xs frame) adult bike. We tried several and he liked a Cannondale Trail 3. Like most mountain/trail bikes it does not have a kickstand, but since he is 10 he still wants/needs one. Cannondale has a part called a Kickstand Flip Chip Bracket that goes into an oval shaped opening on the non drive side near the rear hub that you then can mount a kickstand onto. I can't find this part anywhere online. Does anyone have a Cannondale that came with this bracket and is not using it? I'd be happy to pay to cannibalize it off your bike. Thanks

I don't see Trail 3 specifically listed but there is trail sl 3 which lists the part number. CP1619U10OS Sl Kickstand V3. Googling that returns several results.

That the kickstand, but you need K31010 Flip Chip to mount it. I spoke with Cannondale support and they dont sell it directly to consumer. You can only get through authorized retailer and i can't find any retailers that have it.

Might just have to go generic then
