Agree. I know I will not get as strong or gain the muscle I would if I was at a surplus. The lighter I get the weaker, but faster I get. When I am in Ironman shape the runs do not phase me fatigue waist, and are just maintenance with low HR. Everything is cycled and periodized. I am not trying to peak endurance wise until next spring/ summer.

I am probably done losing for a while.

Awesome! Then you are all set and will crush it.

This isn't you, but there are just so much bad information out there when it comes to weight training. The perpetual, "you can burn fat and build muscle at the same time!" The guys that say this are usually juiced up to their eyeballs. A natural lifter cant really do this past some very early gains.

Like, wouldn't every person that walks into the gym would want to build muscle and burn fat at the same time? Like, no effing sheet, we would all be doing that if it worked. But it doesn't. A person can minimize fat gain on a bulk with a proper diet, and one can minimize muscle loss on a cut, but its going to happen.
