I'm considering getting an e-MTB for our camping trips and hitting trails. Pricing seems to range from $3,000 - $13,000. I would want a full suspension. Do any of yall have one? What is the best bang for your buck?

I don't have one but saw several months ago Yamaha was discontinuing e-bike sales in the USA so they were offering heavy discounts, like over 50% off. I haven't tried looking so no idea if you can still find any.

I have a QuietKat that I won at Quail Coalition this year. Has full suspension. For sale for $3k, but I live in midland. Willing to meet somewhere. I've ridden it once around the neighborhood, but I have no need for it.

Best bang for your buck would have been to buy a month or two ago before most brands increased their prices.

I'd be all over that, but it would cost me about $7,000. My wife would want one and then I'd have to buy another.

I would make sure anything you buy has an easily serviceable battery or replacements that are easy to find.

I moved to CO and got one last year cuz my fat ass couldn't handle the elevation. Went with a 2022 Specialized Levo Turbo and could not be happier. Only have to charge the battery every 5 rides or so. It's still a great workout, especially because I can ride so much longer on it than I can on my analog (and honestly it's much more enjoyable).

They're pretty pricey and very in demand here, so I got it used in Dallas when I was visiting family. Definitely figure out your size and an idea of what you want, and don't be afraid to wait for a good deal. Mine retailed for like $12k but I got it with less than 200 miles on it (having an odometer is awesome) for $4k.

How about $2,900? Great bike, just no need for me, and would like the space back in my garage.
