How long do you want to ignore this user?
Anyone have a rec on a simple heart rate monitor?

I want to start actually tracking my cardio zones at the gym in the mornings.

Thanks

Assuming you are talking about a chest strap, Polar H10 is the way to in my opinion.

Thanks.

How accurate are the rings or the fitbit watches?

I don't know anything about the accuracy of any of the rings. I also don't know about Fitbits, specifically. The only thing I can say about watches is that the optical HR on my Garmin seems to be fine for most applications. I don't wear a chest strap at the gym, for example. But I do wear a chest strap when running where I care about very accurate HR more and know a chest strap provides that.

Not "simple" but I cannot live without my Garmin watch. Monitors sleep, steps, heart rate 24/7, and way too many metrics to even list..I have a Garmin Fenix but there are less expensive options. It has a mode for about every cardio imaginable - even treadmill. Also has an LED flashlight -- great for me as an old man. On trips to the bathroom or to get some water at night I don't have to turn on lights/wake others and don't trip on stuff or fall down stairs, etc...

+1 for the Garmins.

But if you have a device, the Polar straps are a good option. If you're not crazy about a chest strap give the Sosche a look.
