Lagunitas hop water is my favorite. Better than NA beer if you ask me.
Life's an endless party, not a punch card.

It seems like some breweries, at least around me, are really working to cater to the N/A lifestyle more. Great Heights is selling Athletic Brews and New Magnolia recently released their own hop water, which I had last night while my friend had some beers, and it was fantastic! I hope more breweries start to do this.

It was really good. The beertender and I were in agreement that it needs to be canned as it would kill during summer months. He also said he hopes they keep doing different hop waters experimenting with different hops.
I think New Magnolia has a lot more of a flavor profile than the St Arnolds. NM adds citric acid where as I think SA just dry hops water. Either way, both are a great NA option to enjoy at the brewery, but given the option I take NM all day.wessimo said:K Bo said:

The New Magnolia Hop Water is very tasty. I saw that St. Arnold has it on tap as well so may have to go check it out.

i'm holding strong, but its tough. I'm back in texas while the family is in wisconsin. One more week before i head back up to get them. No wife, no kids, no dogs. The house is way too quiet and lonely. I'd call friends, but they' want to go to a brewery or something.
only reason i'm home and not working from WI is that i had a work trip I had to take...then it got canceled. I've been doing projects around the house, but even those aren't really filling my time very well. been watching a lot of tv, which isn't very fulfilling.Geriatric Punk said:No dogs? Seriously, though, I feel ya. My wife takes the kids to La Crosse to see her family for weeks at a time while I stay home and work. It is always a tough time. I used to enjoy the quiet/alone time of having a house to myself. Now, the chaos of the family being home is like a soothing white noise. Its absence causes anxiety.
Hang in there. I'd say "go for some long trail runs," but I always want a beer afterward and am guessing that is the same with you.

I rarely drink anymore. I've really only ever been a social drinker and as a parent there's not much socializing anymore. The only time of the year I drink regularly is the summer at the community pool. I never really sit around the house having a drink unless I've had a rough day. I grew up in a house where my dad had a couple of drinks every night after work. I get up around 4:00 during the week, if I have any booze I feel like garbage in the morning, plus it messes up my sleep. I've become more boring than I ever would have imagined a decade ago.
Well done. I've been eating like garbage, but have still managed to drop holiday weight simply because I'm not crushing IPAs all weekend.Na Zdrav 87 said:
