Am I hurting myself by doing doubles of short runs rather than one longer short run a day? I like to run 3 miles on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and then 5 on Saturday. During the week during the winter, it's a lot more convenient to run 1.5 at lunch and 1.5 after work, though. It probably doesn't matter either way since 3 miles is such a short distance, but wanted to hear what the runners have to say. No real goals with this, just keeping a baseline level of fitness.
