I am trying to plan a little bit further ahead than I have been for races in 2018.
For me, races I plan to do in first half of the year are:
Mansfield HM - Saturday, 1/27/2018 - I've already been in training for this one since Thanksgiving. My first HM in over 2 decades. I've done 10 mile training runs, so I'll finish. But I doubt my time will be very good.
Arlington HM - Sunday, 4/8/2018 - Inaugural Arlington Marathon and Half Marathon. This is the one I hope to run a decent time for.
After doing these, I'll decide whether to try a full marathon again. My last full was in 1994 and I promised myself I'd never do another. We'll see.
