I have known two people that tried a LCHF diet, it worked great for one guy and the other it got worse. He switched to a Mediterranean diet and that worked for him. Both drank a lot of coke and a decent amount of processed foods before the change
Lowered my total cholesterol by 50+ points in ~3 months, also lost 25+ lbs.
The only thing I really changed was my diet: eliminating bread/pasta and sweets, eating more salads, eating less overall. Lots of small changes, though the bread pasta has been the hardest (slip up on the bread/pasta a little here and there)
Marginally increased activity, mostly in the form of occasional running, still lift about the same amount.
