Also revealed tonight/today. Probably doesn't fly (at least intentionally)

It's not all electric unless the fuel gage is for battery power.

I watched the video and went to the link. I still don't know what the hell this is. Is it all electric? A hybrid? Modern advertising sucks. I assume it's electric and they just don't want to come out and say it.

I drive analog Porsche's. Unfortunately, Porsche will continue to suffer financially until it starts to deliver 7 spd manual transmission petrol engines.... essentially return to its roots.
The electric motors and PDK transmissions are crippling them IMO.
Redevelop the Mezger engine and watch sales skyrocket. I drive a 2002 turbo and that engine is awesome. Probably wake the neighbors up in the mornings.
I mean this thing looks cool, but it isn't for me.

I agree there is clearly still demand for a gasoline only or gasoline primary power train, but I'm not sure I agree about the PDK. Even before electrification when Porsche was doing well, wasn't the PDK chosen by a large majority of buyers?

Because ordering a manual transmission is almost impossible these days. In fact, last year they didn't produce one (pretty sure it was last year). I have no real problem with the PDK... it is a really advanced transmission. Have one on a Cayenne. Not on the 911... 6 spd.
