Toyota Highlander, 2006. So no collision insurance on it.
Front left damaged after I hit a mid size deer in his shoulder a few days ago. No engine issues, drives straight and true. Headlight housing is destroyed, that was the point of impact. Hood is fine, Bumper (plastic) has a dent, but not in terrible shape. Front left fender fairly creased and twisted.
I have never done any major body work besides touch ups and some painting. This doesn't look too difficult though. My question is sourcing replacement parts. What is the board's advice on where to get a new light housing, fender, and likely paint. Bumper too? Or is that something a heat gun could take care of?
Car is old, but probably still has 100k miles left in it, so would like to fix it to a reasonable appearance.
Any advice is appreciated. Thanks
