This one was parked like a ***** canoe outside the office yesterday:



I had to look it up to make sure it wasn't something else just rebadged and found a listing:

Only $234,000

That patterned hood and the wheels are all awful. Might be fun to drive though.

The repeating logo on the hood reminds me of a woman's purse. Just a little too gaudy for me to take it seriously. Probably a great car but it looks like something a drug dealer would buy. Or an older stripper that saved her money while dancing.

Not a convertible but, one day in LA (circa 2021), I was heading home from the Laurel Canyon Dog Park and at the intersection of Laurel Canyon and Ventura Blvd, I pulled up behind a guy in a Maybach Minivan.

I had no idea such a thing existed. Why would somebody do that? I suspected maybe it was fake but I looked it up and you could buy one from the local Mercedes dealer at the time.

Apparently they're bringing it back for 2027.

When you have a car that expensive, you pay people to wash it. But the idea of keeping that black plastic portion in the front free of dirt, dust and bugs would be a dealbreaker for me.

My decision to buy cars in the past has been influenced by how difficult I think the wheels are going to be to keep clean

Not sure I understand the vehicle in the OP's post. Is that really marketed as a Maybach? There are really two vehicles in the true 'Maybach' market.

1. The traditional Maybach that has comford and command in the rear seat with a driver.
2. The BMW 750Li. It is legal to consume alhohol in the rear seat of this vehicle.

Two different markets for sure. But that car in the photo offers nothing.
