Wish these came out 10 years ago. Mom turns 96 this Saturday. At this point, she not only needs a driver, she also needs help getting into stores, etc.

But it would have been wonderful to give her this independence back when she was still pretty independent, but really didn't need to be driving.

People will also buy them as a personal vehicle and turn them lose once they are at work to generate revenue and offset the cost of owning a vehicle.

I'm guessing you could help offset the cost, but it wouldn't make economic sense to buy one purely for leasing.

Some Tesla owners may decide not to buy a cyber cab and instead allow their Tesla run around as a cyber cab when not using it themselves. Not sure If I can understand why. Sure don't want anyone running around on their own in mine.

I recently saw a news story of an elderly lady that bought a Morel 3 with FSD so she can go to church again without help.

Can someone hire their own car to cybercab them home from happy hour?

Lots of folks bought additional cars (including Teslas) just to put them on Turo, so I can see people like that treating them as an investment.
