Look up Drift. They are little wooden blocks infused with different scents. They are on a subscription service that sends you one per month. I have used them for the last five years. I think the monthly cost is about 8 bucks.

I haven't ever had much luck with under seat air fresheners working. The scent disappears too quickly.

I have these in several cars. This isn't under seat, but it works better than any passive air freshener I've ever used. The scent lasts months depending on how frequently you drive. I either keep the device in a cup holder or door pocket. It needs to be charged every couple of months. It turns on and sprays automatically when you open the car door or start driving and then sprays more periodically as you drive.

I second Drift, we use them for about year and half now. I get the smell of month so it changes. Most are solid get 1-2 a year that I don't particularly care for but I also like changing scent up instead of same thing every month.

What sucks is that I need to smell test before I commit to buying it…

CS-X3 squash air freshener is a Japanese one that I like. Smells fruity and light and clean without too much of the candy smell.

just go to bath and body works and look at some of those. I have, I think it is, mahogany teakwood and I just open it and throw it under the seat. I have the holder but it usually falls off. I have done this with the old spice gel fresheners as well. just throw it under the seat.

I really like this. You flip the little bottle upside down so the oil soaks into the lid and then the scent diffuses. Not too strong, not too light. Lasts 2-3 months easily. I don't hang mine from the mirror, just stand it in a cubby on the center dash.

These things at Walmart keep their smell way longer than they should. I just rip the bag and throw it under the seat. 6 scents and they are cheap too.
