I just went to a Tacoma in December. My 2006 Chevy was approaching 250K miles and the weekly commutes from the metroplex to Midland had me needing something a bit more reliable and better gas mileage. I wasn't really wanting new truck or wanting to spend big bucks, so opted for a used '23 Tacoma. It's definitely noticeable downsizing and takes some adjusting. I will get a full size when I pass this on to a kid in a few years.

How does the Tacoma do on your drives to midland?

I have a 23 tacoma, but my family uses it as a go to town truck. It is easy to park, gets decent mileage, and is economical to drive. I also like it for trips up to a few hours if it is just me. I like having it, and we get good use of it, but I am not sure it could be my only truck.
