Oh yeah. I was thinking a toolbox for the garage. Not a truck.

Oh, if you have a Honda, 3 OEM filters and crush washers for $30.

Changing the oil on Sunday in the Accord and Odysseus, and ordered these. $4/filter cheaper than the local O'Reilly's. Came in yesterday.

It costs me just over $200 for my F250 Diesel. It holds 15 quarts. I did it myself right after I bought it over 10 years ago. It is worth the $200 to have somebody else deal with 15 quarts of hot oil.
$30 "handling" fee at Jiffy Lube. Bring your own oil. Much better. You are about $130 ish, maybe more depending on the filter.

The Valvoline place I go to does that as well. I think they went up to $45 last year. All and all it was only saving me about $25 or $30. Don't have to worry about getting rid of the old oil either.

I am okay with paying the oil change place to do it. I have another car I use as my daily driver and only have to change the F250 about once a year. Usually do it right before deer season. They top off all my other fluids as well.

I am getting too old to be crawling around under my truck.

I do my own, fumoto drain with the nipple on each vehicle, hook rubber hose to container and drain. Then a zip lock around the filter for minimal mess, Valve synthetic and napa gold filters for each, takes 10 mins in my driveway.

Leaves you more time for toolbox shopping!

I buy my own oil and filter and my place in Bryan changes it for 26 bucks. I save about 70
Bucks at least. I run T6 in my 6.7 at 15 qts. Worth it

I'll pay someone 26 bucks to not have to fool with the oil.

Jordan Ford here in SA ran a teacher appreciation deal for those of us at our high school who wanted it: $44 oil/filter change, at the school, using their mobile tech service. I have an old school F350 that takes 15 quarts. They're doing it for $115! I'll take it!

Good on you, Jordan Ford!

The last time I went to a Valvoline place he handed me a receipt with 8,000 fewer miles than what was actually on my vehicle. The receipt also falsely claimed they had filled up my washer fluid and checked the battery. I noticed the wiper fluid was actually empty when I was driving home and that's when I saw the mileage issue on the receipt. I took it back and had them correct the mileage and fill the wiper fluid. They were adamant they checked the battery. The battery died less than a month later. I wonder if they actually did the oil change.

Never again.
