Never thought I'd see someone defending the honor of California redneck culture on F16 but it's a new year. Let's make it a banger!

What's the deal with people in Phoenix and LA referring to freeways as "The (insert number)"? Everywhere else I've been, people just say "I-10", or "35 North", or "290". We wouldn't say "the 101" for example.

More so meant used. The non-coupe Turbo S is in the upper 90s these days.EMY92 said:
I'm not looking for a vehicle that starts at over 200k.
Another that scares me after driving Raptors for 7 years is that I ignore potholes and speed bumps, curbs, and most other obstacles. Not sure how I would adjust to a vehicle with low profile tires. I'd hate to have to replace one of those rims.

Completely understand the lo-pro worry. For the first time ever, I bought an aftermarket wheel service plan with my Cayenne and have used it 3x in a year.

I'm currently contemplating an F430 for my 40th this summer while also acknowledging my first kid is about to be born. Currently have a 77 CJ as my play car but it doesn't get driven much with no roof or doors.

Tell me you live in Katy…. I used to frequent the Mo's right there when you could get Guinness for $2.22.

I'm 44 and about to get another fun car. Have a Land Cruiser but want something speedy. Probably a 911.
Not a mid life crisis car. No crisis here. Just want to reap some rewards of working hard before I'm 65.
Update. Wife's X5 was t-boned today, so my 911 money will likely be headed toward replacing that with something satisfactory.
X3M Competition

This is my 18 year old son's whip. Judge me all you want but he earned it with his academics
AggieDruggist89 gave a reasonable description but I think the reason for why it is difficult for others outside of SoCal to understand is just the sheer volume of freeways of different road classification types in SoCal versus other locations.Buck Turgidson said:

I had forgotten about the Christopher Columbus designation.AggieDruggist89 said:
One final,
I can't believe you left out Santa Monica Fwy.. Formally Christopher Columbus Transcontinental Highway otherwise known as the I-10. Or 10.
But see... Santa Monica Fwy is really referred to the section west of 5-60-101-10 merger by Boyle Heights. Kinda. I would've never said take Santa Monica from El Monte to Rancho Cucamonga..

I actually went through this phase closer to 35 (now 45). Had a cts-v with a third pedal.
Waiting another 5 years until I'm an empty nester to go for round 2 of midlife crisis
