Have a 2013 ecoboost twin turbo - that had an injector sticking and after the injectors were replaced the the O2 sensor code came back - wound up running a tank of premium and I cleared the codes. Then ran another 2 tanks of premium on a 1,000 mi drive and never saw the light again.

Engine light went off yesterday on the way to get dinner

Then came back on in the drive thru.

Already canceled my appt with Ford on Saturday morning, going to do some premium gas and additive next time we fill up and go from there

How old are your plugs?

Why would premium help clear a cat code? It's not a more pure gasoline, it's just made for higher compression. The detergents in the gasoline is what matters. Fill up at reputable stations if you're worried about helping clean the injectors, plugs and cats. A higher compression fuel can actually cause more harm than a lower compression depending on what your vehicle calls for.

Look at what the manufacturer calls for and fill up at reputable stations.

I currently have a Cat code P430 and waiting on dealership to locate a loaner for me.

This will be the 4th (maybe 5th I believe) replacement in a year.

I'm going to be arguing that Ford needs to figure this out - it's becoming quite a nuisance.
Sounds like the need to reprogram the O2 sensor thresholds.

Tune it and just turn the rear O2 sensors off.
