Howdy all, looking for some recommendations on places to have a set of rim powder coated.

Preferably in the Katy or Cypress area.

I had a guy come to my house, put my car on jack stands, took the wheels/tires with him. He powdered coated them and brought them back about 3 days later on a Saturday late afternoon. $500. They look great. I'm in Houston. I can send you his info if you want. I'm sure he would go to Katy/Cypress.

Most other places I called were the same price or so and I had to bring them the rims only, which meant me taking the tires off and then taking it somewhere to get rims off the tires.

Thanks for the info KDub. These are new to me rims, so luckily aren't mounted yet.

Houstonwheeltex has done a lot of wheels for me.

Anyone have a rec for Dallas area? Want to get my rims and roof rack done on my Navigator. Any ideas on cost for something like that?

Mr Art shut it down last year. A shame. His work had become slow and inconsistent the last 5 years. He had to redo my E55 wheels 3 times. Forgot about some wheels. Etc.

Arolod has done 2 sets of rims for me. Both held up really well.
