I didn't see maroon as an option, my next choice would have been deep bronze metallic. They had a black, red and this desert tan one in the AT4 package that I was looking at. The red was bright red and not my thing, I've had a black truck before and while it is beautiful when clean, it shows all the dirt and scratches. When I saw this desert tan one I was hooked though.

Seriously looking into getting a Canyon with the Denali package next year. So nice.

I went yesterday to look at Sierra 1500 Elevation and AT4 packages and spent the whole time instead looking at the Canyon AT4 and AT4x.

Two things that really hit a key for me...

First, I grew up driving trucks made in the mid 80s. This is the same size as those.

Second, I have a 13 year old kid. I don't know that there is anything made that would be a better first car and I could pass it down in 3 years.

My accountant is running it up and checking 179 status, etc.

My brother recently bought a gray Canyon ATX4 and it's pretty sweet. What we are seeing here is grade inflation.

The full-sized trucks have inflated so much that the next level down trim is now equivalent to where we were in the 80s and 90s and that's what makes these desirable.

I would rather have one of these than the full-size trucks at this point.

AT4x looks badass but I personally would never need all those off road bells and whistles. Would love to get an ATX though
